Eurobodalla Greens is a local group of The Greens NSW, a member body of The Australian Greens political party and part of the global Green movement.
Our guiding principles are:
- Ecological sustainability
- Social and economic justice
- Peace, non-violence, disarmament
- Grassroots democracy
In practice that means we’re constantly campaigning on local issues that affect our community and environment, as well as advocating broader Greens issues.
If this sounds like you, come to our meet and greet time on a Sunday afternoon every 2 months. This is followed by our bi-monthly meeting for Greens members.
Email us for details at eurobodallagreens@yahoo.com
- In Federal elections, Eurobodalla is split between the Eden-Monaro (south) or Gilmore (north) electorate. Details at aec.gov.au.
- In State elections, Eurobodalla residents vote in the electorate of Bega.
- In Council elections, Eurobodalla residents and non-resident ratepayers elect 9 Councillors including the popularly elected Mayor. We currently have one serving Greens Councillor, Councillor Colleen Turner.
